The Santa Clara Chamber of Commerce & Convention-Visitors Bureau – your business resource. For more than 60 years, the Chamber has been the leader for Santa Clara’s business community by providing educational and networking opportunities, advocating on behalf of business, and creating a strong local economy.
In addition to serving our members, the Chamber of Commerce manages and operates the Convention-Visitors Bureau and Convention Center, both funded under contract with the City of Santa Clara.
We have approximately 540 member businesses, with an estimated total employee count of 22,000. The governance and policy making of the Chamber is the responsibility of the 25-member Board of Directors. Elected annually by the membership, the Board develops a "Program of Work" for the coming fiscal year. This Program is executed through the following divisions:
- Convention-Visitors Bureau
- Government Relations
- Industrial, Commercial and Economic Development
- Membership Services
Task Force and Committee Work Areas are created within each of the divisions. Members are encouraged to become involved in the community by serving as volunteers on the committees and task forces of their choice.
Based on the Program of Work, President & CEO Steve Van Dorn and staff ensure the Board's vision is shared with the membership through the many programs and services the Chamber offers.
The Chamber encourages you to become involved. To learn more about any of the above listed divisions or to volunteer, please contact the Chamber directly at (408) 244-8244.
